Partnering with Another Eco-tour Company

Posted by Sandy McRuer on September 14th, 2006

Rainbird Excursions and Pacific Rainforest Adventure Tours have found a way to work together to accommodate larger tour groups from time to time. When we get enquiries about nature tours or hiking for groups of over 10 people, we can call each other for assistance. It works really well!

Last week and this week I helped him out when he had large tours. Last week was a group of Physicists from Triumf (No, that’s not the motorcycle company). Who wanted an afternoon off from formulas, graphs and whatnot. So they booked us for an afternoon of guided hiking and nature interpretation at Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park and Cathedral Grove. This week it was a group from the Canadian Wildlife Service who wanted a day off from their meetings. Basically, we did the same thing as before but started at 8:30 AM and finished up at Coombs Market for lunch.
